In 2020, the city of Beirut experienced an unprecedented catastrophic event when a port warehouse exploded, affecting millions and sending broken glass for miles.
In an effort to transmute the pain that was caused by the event, glass was collected and used to produce these glass Ibriq’s which stand as a symbol of hope and strength for the Lebanese people.
We feel resilience is core to who we are and are proud to offer this artisan work as a way of sharing this story.
